Aero's Ring
- This unusual platinum ring contains a small conpartment that will
open with a command word.
- When the conpartment is closed, it creates a small unidentifable berry that can
(when eaten) make the eater fly (as per the spell, for 10 rounds), become stronger
(as per the spell, for 10 rounds), or healed (10 hit points).
- The ring will produce a new berry every time it is closed as long as the last one
has been consumed (to a maximum of 3 per day).
- The ring makes all it's saves as +2 hard metal.
- The ring does not have to be worn in order for it to operate.
XP: 1,000
Decanter of Elixir Creation
- Appears to be one of any ordinary potion vials with an incomplete
label. The label reads "Potion of _______" in the common language of the
area in which it is found.
- When filled with a liquid and the label is completed, the fluid changes color and
consistency. In essense, it is now the named potion.
- This decanter may be employed once per day for a total of 10 uses before it is
rendered useless.
- The bottle resets itself when the liquid is removed from the bottle (for example,
drank, spilt, poured out, etc.).
- Holy water or unholy water create potions that do not count against
the 10 uses of the bottle.
- If oils, misspellings, or "unreal" potions (as decided by the DM) only
create a foul tasting liquid which does not count against the total uses, but wastes
the fluid changed and no further potions will be created for a full 24 hours.
- Once a fluid has been changed (for good or ill) it cannot be further affected.
XP:
Mantle of Mist
- This cloak is made of a rich white hoar fox fur valued at 5,000d and radiates
alteration magic when detected for.
- It can cange into a fog cloud of 20 by 20 by 10
feet for 1 turn duration usable as often as desired with the command word of "obscure".
XP:
Mask of Magic
- This mask always appears perfectly circular. The wearer can see magical
dweomers and auras (including those of surfaces or areas bearing symbols, glyphs, inscriptions,
and the like), although such things cannot be read or closely examined.
- Only location, outline, and relative intensity of magical power can be
discerned. The magical sight is continuous and involuntary while the mask is worn.
XP:
Veil Mask
- Named for both its appearance and its function, this mask completely covers all the
wearer's face in an impassive expanse; only the wearer's eyes can communicate
any expression.
- While worn, it completely hides and protects the wearer from any mind-reading or mind-influencing
spells (charm, sleep, ESP, etc.), any divination spells or similar powers involving the wearer (including
detect lie, alignment aura reading, and the like).
- It also causes offensive attacks of these sorts (psionics, enchantment/charm spells, for example) to
be reflected back upon the caster. If reflection is impossible due to the nature of the attack, the spell is
merely negated.
- The mask does not confer actual or psionic invisibility upon the wearer.
