The Sul'cri

Sul'cri spells involve the casting of spells in, and related to the element of air. Air elementalists are extremely claustrophobic, in underground tunnels a Sul'cri must make a save versus paralyzation whenever faced with a stressful situation. If the save is failed, the shek p'var must make his spell check roll at -8 (if underground more than 1 hour the Sul'cri will flee as if affected by a fear spell until he reaches the surface).

A Sul'cri personality is as varied as the wind, some are quiet and gentle, while others are long winded, while still others possess tempers like hurricanes. It is not even certain if Sul'cri still exist. There are no formal schools of air and air is viewed as a weak element (especially compared to fire).

Sul'cri are highly favored, even sought after, as spelljammer mages, due to their ability to rejuvenate the air envelope of their ships in wildspace. Many times Sul'cri are ship's head mages and never actually have to take the helm.

Note: Not all Sul'cri are spellcasters. Sages, librarians, contributors, honorary members, scribes, as well as others may hold titles. There is no Virana of this shek p'var and several Shenava. Only spellcasters suffer the side effects.
