For Love
by Avathar Valcana

Many a bard has composed a bit of poetry when smitten with a particluar beauty. Here was mine:

Dearest, were I master of my own realm,
I'd make you the princess you long to be,
A creature of beauty to overwhelm,
All with jealously to see you with me;

I'd give all my jewels to only you,
To but have your elegance at my side,
I'd spend all my gold in a flash 'tis true,
If with me, you would eternally abide;

Through searing deserts of sand ablaze,
And great forests of oak, elm, and pine,
My spirit would soar and my hopes would raise,
If you will only vow to always be mine.
